ASK THE INFLUENCERS

Each month, we ask a few of our top influencers and affiliates to share their opinion and insight on an important topic about trends, daily events, and personal development. This is what they have to say…

What is the one habit that you would like your followers to cultivate in their daily lives?

WE ASKED

The one habit I would like to single out is that the most productive leaders understand the importance of getting out of bed early in the morning. So, rise early and create a to-do list. It should be your daily activity.

Pay attention to your thoughts. It is the greatest thing you can do for your whole being. Negative thoughts bring negative experiences into your life and positive thoughts bring positive experiences. When we direct our thoughts, we take control of our lives and create the realities we wish to experience. When we stop and pay attention to what we are thinking about, it's pretty simple to figure out what direction our lives are headed. There is only one question you need to ask yourself to know if you are leading with love. Are my thoughts bringing me joy, or are they causing fear, anger, and anxiety? If you do not like the emotion, change the thought.

Meditation is a habit I acquired in 2018 and it has changed my life. Most people think it's hard or even a waste of time but what I would say to those who don't believe in the power of meditation is this; if you just dedicate five minutes a day to meditate before you start your day you will find that, as the day unfolds and you face challenges at work or at home, you will be able to handle it without getting overwhelmed or upset. Your mind is clear and open to finding solutions to life's challenges faster and more effectively than if you did not add mediation to your morning routine. No matter where I am, I make sure I do not leave the house without meditating for at least five minutes in the morning. This habit has truly made my life better.
